Weavers Cottage Kilbarchan
Friday, March 16th, 2007Weavers cottage, owned by the National Trust, was built in 1723. It houses the last of the 800 looms working in this village in the 1830s. Children are encouraged to try the old skills of weaving, winding and spinning at the cottage, and there is a display of locally made material. 12 miles south west of Glasgow.
