Alloa Tower

Dating from the 1300s, Alloa Tower is one of the largest surviving medieval tower houses. Of special interest are the original oak roof beams, medieval groin vaulting, a pit dungeon and the original internal well.

Loch Leven National Nature Reserve

Loch Leven

Resting beneath the shadow of the Lomond Hills lies Loch Leven National Nature Reserve. It is the largest loch in lowland Scotland and one of the most important sites for waterfowl in Britain.
