This bunker played a big part of the winning of the Battle of the Atlantic, its role being to ensure the successful delivery of supplies and equipment into wartime Britain from the sea. Situated near the Town Hall.

Weavers Triangle Visitor Centre

Located in the former Canal Toll Office and Wharfmaster’s House at Burnley Wharf by the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. Displays include how cotton was made, a weaver’s cellar dwelling , a Victorian Parlour and recreated Victorian classroom.
They also have working model fairground, a Canal Toll Office - Restored to how it would have looked.

Sunnyhurst Wood Visitor Centre
