moot-hall.jpg

Elstow Moot Hall also called Green House, was built in the late 15th century as a market-house for use with the village fairs. It was used for storing the stalls and other market equipment and as a place for resolving disputes arising from the fairs. It is a fine example of a 15th Century timber framed building.
