Little Gransden Air & Vintage Show-26th August 2007

You may want to take your motorhome or campervan to Little Gransden Show to support the BBC Children in Need Appeal 2007 and local charities. The organisers describe the Little Gransden Families Day Out Air & Vintage Vehicle Show as including over four hours of vintage and aerobatic flying displays, a vintage, veteran and classic vehicle rally plus numerous other attractions.

Located at Fuller’s Hill Farm near Little Gransden village in Cambridgeshire, roughly half way between Bedford and Cambridge. Access is easy via the A1 or A428 roads.

Welney-The Wildfowls and Wetlands Trust

In the Ouse Washes north east of Welney village is a mecca for the winter home of thousands of swans and ducks from northern Europe and the Arctic. Large numbers of Bewick’s and Whooper swans now over-winter here with hundreds of other birds.The floodlit evening feeding is well worth seeing if you get the chance.
