Newark Castle
Newark Castle is located near the town centre, off Castle Gate.
The site and the Gilstrap Tourist Information Centre, which is located in the castle grounds, are open daily.
There are car parks nearby, by the riverside but these are often full and very busy. It is best to park on the other side of the bridge just past the railway crossing. Or if you have shopping to do, Waitrose store is between the bridge and the railway crossing and is within walking distance of the castle.
