St Nicholas Priory is currently closed for conservation, repair and interpretation work. It will reopen around 2008.

The building itself is about a quarter of the original Priory. It was the domestic western wing and the monks’ guest house. Part of the building was sold and later converted to a grand Elizabethan residence by various wealthy merchants.
