Sutton Scarsdale Hall
Sutton Scarsdale Hall is a ruined stately home in Sutton Scarsdale, just outside Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Worth a trip in your Motorhome to see this former Georgian mansion with gardens, it was built in 1724 to the designs of Francis Smith. It has been roofless since about 1920 when parts of the building were dismantled and sold, some shipped to the USA.
