Offa’s Dyke Path
Offa’s Dyke Path is one of twelve designated National Trails.
It is the only UK National trail to follow the man-made feature of the Dyke. The Dyke was built under the orders of Offa, King of Mercia in 757 to 796 AD. The dyke formed a boundary between England & Wales, running 182 miles from Prestatyn in the north to Sedbury, near Chepstow in the south.
